Trump Says His Doctors Would Ignore Audience Member Having Heart Attack, Calls Them 'Collateral Damage'

President Donald Trump told a crowd that a supporter 'looks like shit' and appears ready for a heart attack, adding that his doctors would ignore the man as 'collateral damage'. The comments came during a campaign rally on 14 October 2026 at Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport in Bullhead City, Arizona, and circulated widely in a viral video.
The appearance was part of Trump's campaign swing ahead of the 3 November midterm elections, including support for Republican candidates in Arizona.
The Midterm Rally in Mohave County
Trump spoke for about an hour and 40 minutes to supporters gathered beside the runway in Mohave County, where he received more than 77.6 per cent of the 2024 vote. The outdoor rally took place less than three weeks before Election Day on 3 November, as Trump sought to mobilise Republican voters in Arizona, which he carried in 2024.
Biggs, who won the July primary and is endorsed by Trump, joined the president and called for early ballot returns to make the result 'too big to rig'. Trump arrived aboard the Qatari-gifted 747 serving as Air Force One and blended prepared remarks on the economy, the Iran conflict and Democratic opponents with lengthy improvisations.
The rally drew supporters to Bullhead City, near the Nevada border.
Trump's Remarks on Doctors and Supporters
Off script, Trump described travelling with a team of physicians who accompany the president. 'If people get sick in the audience, they leave them alone. You know what they call them? Collateral damage,' he told the audience.
He then pointed toward a man he described as a friend. 'If that person right over there, a friend of mine, he looks like shit actually. He looks like he's ready to have a heart attack. If he actually had a heart attack you know what my doctors would do that follow the president, all presidents? They would leave him alone,' Trump said.
He continued with a hypothetical exchange in which his doctors would refuse to help the supporter, calling him "collateral damage". Trump also claimed that six ambulances were available but would not be used for anyone else.
The individual indicated was not identified, and no medical incident was reported at the event. The remarks drew laughter from parts of the crowd.

A clip of the exchange, posted by digital editor Acyn, rapidly accumulated more than 1.5 million views within a day. One supporter wrote on the platform: 'Hilarious! Can you imagine being a close friend with the POTUS and he breaks ur ballz at a public rally!' The remarks prompted criticism online, with some social media users condemning Trump's comments about leaving a supporter without medical assistance.
The moment has been replayed across social media, amplifying discussion of Trump's freewheeling delivery on the trail and the practical arrangements for medical care at large outdoor events.
The remarks have added to the volume of unscripted moments from the midterm campaign, as both parties continue to compete for turnout in Arizona and other battleground states ahead of 3 November.
