Porn Star Reveals Director Forced Bananas and a Broom Into Her at 18: 'I Was Sore and Crying'

Former adult film actress Jessie Rogers has revealed she suffered severe physical trauma after a film director forced foreign objects into her body when she was 18 years old.
The American performer disclosed the details during a podcast interview that recently resurfaced on social media.
Rogers recounted enduring severe injuries on an East Coast production set. A director coerced her into inserting household items, including brooms and bananas, over several hours.
'I was putting like really weird things in there all day, like, you know, brooms, bananas, you know, things like that,' Rogers said.
'In one of the scenes I was literally crying because I was so sore,' she stated. When she asked to stop, the production team refused to issue payment unless she completed the shoot.

Physical Trauma and Acute Medical Emergencies on Set
Rogers entered the adult entertainment industry after answering a classified advert on Craigslist at 17 years old. She began shooting on the day following her 18th birthday.
Her account details extensive physical harm during her career, including non-consensual assaults and severe personal injuries.
She suffered beatings from a male performer that left her bleeding from the head, knocked unconscious twice, and locked inside a bathroom.
Over the course of her employment, Rogers attended urgent medical care clinics on more than 10 separate occasions.
She also contracted herpes on set and survived an off-camera rape by a male co-worker she had previously trusted.
When Rogers reported the sexual assault to her booking agent, she received no workplace support or care.
'He just like gave me this blank stare and was like, "So did you guys have fun?"' Rogers said. She retired from the industry immediately after the conversation.
In April 2013, Rogers testified before the California State Assembly's Labor and Employment Committee in support of AB 332, a bill proposing mandatory condom use in adult film productions in California.
Data Confirms Severe Health Hazards for Female Performers
Medical researchers have documented widespread physical injuries and psychological harm across the adult entertainment sector.
A 2008 study examined health risks among adult film performers in Los Angeles through in-depth interviews with 18 female and 10 male performers, as well as two industry informants.
Researchers identified physical trauma on film sets, mental health problems and financial insecurity among performers. They also found that women were more likely than men to be exposed to health risks.
The study established that female performers bear a disproportionate burden of physical injury and exposure to sexually transmitted infections.
Researchers found that the industry involves high-risk sexual acts performed without barrier protection, leading to cumulative bodily harm over time.
The researchers also found that financial insecurity affected many performers entering and leaving the industry.
Rogers noted that agencies continue to target younger women while concealing permanent physical and psychological risks.
'Stop trying to hoover these young girls who don't even have their frontal lobe fully developed,' Rogers said in a 2024 podcast appearance.
'They aren't fully experienced in being an adult and weighing out all of these potential consequences,' she added.
Public health advocates state that strict labour protections, compulsory health screenings, and mandatory workplace safety regulations remain crucial to preventing lasting physical injury in commercial productions.
